A Galatea dairy farmer has made a clean sweep of the Triple Crown trail running series.
32-year-old Sjors Corporaal has wrapped up the three run series in style, taking out the 21km 'Goat' run around the flanks of Mt Ruapehu.
He says rain the night before Saturday's race made for a treacherous surface, saying the course was something of a minefield.
His time of 1hr57mins was just under a minute outside Englishman Thomas Owens' course record.
The win follows victories in the Toi's Challenge and Coromandel's Kauri Run.
