Basketball

All teams interested in entering the local Kawerau Basketball competition please contact: Pee Wee 323 7557 or Monique 323 7446. Tuwharetoa ki Kawerau Hauora

Tuwharetoa ki Kawerau Hauora wishes to invite expectant mothers and their partners to join their Free Ante-Natal Support Group. The course content covers everything from Nutrition to ensuring you have a Midwife. Free transport to the Hau Ora is provided. To find out more contact Ruth 323 8025

Kawerau Swimming Pools winter season opening time of 11am

Kawerau Swimming Club – Learn to Swim

Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5 – 6pm:
Due to popular demand another two week block of swimming lessons will be held at the pools at the end of February.

Aqua Aerobics

Monday's & Thursday's 6 – 7pm: at the pools

Permits for Tarawera Falls and Outlet

Due to the High fire risk Tarawera Forest and Mt Putauaki are still closed exceptions are the Tarawera Falls and Outlet. Permits can be obtained from the Kawerau Information Centre - cost $3.50 per vehicle.
NOTE: Motorbikes of all descriptions are not permitted.
