Eastern Bay athlete to compete at Commonwealth Games

An Opotiki athlete has qualified for the Commonwealth games.

Paralympian Matthew Lack has been selected to be part of the New Zealand team for the October games.

Matthew will be racing in the 1500m track race, in New Delhi, India.

The 18 year old qualified in Switzerland, three weeks ago.

He says it's an incredibly exciting time.
