The Whakatane War Memorial Hall now has wireless Internet access.
The Eastern Bay's newest Internet provider, Go Net, has launched the service at the hall, in time for the Business and Leisure show.
Stallholders will be able to connect to the Internet and move freely through the entire complex without “dropping” the connection.
It's hoped the service will attract bigger events to the town.
Whakatane West Rotary will also be giving a sneak-peak of it's cookbook at the weekend event.
It contains recipes from Eastern Bay celebs, and will officially go on sale after the show.
There'll also be free hearing tests provided by Scott McLay audiology.
