Senior Constable retires

Eastern Bay Police are about to lose one of their longest serving officers.

Senior Constable Peter Bedford has spent close to 30 years serving the community.

Today marks his last day on the job.

Whakatane Sergeant Ray Wylie says his colleagues wish him well in his retirement.
