Mark Eagle: 2-7pm

I grew up in Feilding... but don't get me wrong I don't support Manawatu any more - although I was there when they last won the Ranfurly shield (OK - showing my age now... it was a LONG time ago).

I worked in a bank before my break into radio... a big change but I far prefer playing songs and telling bad jokes than counting money. I've worked in radio all over the country (and even in a country station in London) before coming to 1XX in 2003, and I love it here - it's real community radio! It's all about the people here.

I also work on our rock staion Bayrock - hosting the afternoon show. It's a busy day when I'm on 1XX afternoons as well - you'll see me running between studios!

I'm married to Annamarie, she's English although we met in France... and thus our love of good wine (forget the snails though). We live in Ohope under the rule of our fluffy cat Widget!
