Hillcrest Road in Whakatane is closed today until six this evening between the two intersections with Seaview Road. The detour is by Seaview Road.

Lowe Road in Waimana will be closed Monday and Tuesday next week. There'll be a detour sign-posted through Bells Road, State Highway 2 and Waimana Road.

Matahi Valley Road's back open from the start of Te Urewera National Park, with extreme care required and restrictions in place. No large or towing vehicles are allowed beyound the park boundary.

The works continue on State Highway 35 at the Maraenui and Motu bluffs, with 15 minute delays expected.

And the Reid's Canal bridge between Awakeri and Edgecumbe on State Highway 2 is closed for replacement. Expected to reopen in March.
