What's going on in your business, a new hire, a new product line, a great sales month? We will share your "GOOD NEWS" with the rest of the  Bay of Plenty.

Tony Bonne, Sportworld.
"We have run our annual dive sale for 11 years and each year is bigger than the last. This is due to the successful formula we use which involves using 1XX as the primary media for our advertising. We use the same ads on 1XX each year and this repetition is very successful. We have a 1XX announcer perform crossovers on the day and Mark Eagle did a great job this year. Our Dive Sale is now known NZ wide and we have people attend from all over the Bay of Plenty, in particular from Tauranga. We spend more than we used to for our advertising but it always pays off. The staff work very hard in the lead up to, and on the day but they all enjoy it.”

Paul Julian, Julian’s Berry Farm
“On Labour Day we sold 1026 ice creams in one day! This is the first time we have sold over 1000 in one day—we’ve been trying for 3 years and have finally done it!”

Radio Bay of Plenty Ltd - 1XX
1XX reception recently had a delightful call from one very grateful and happy listener.  Last month on Bay Bazaar, she phone in and advertised for a wheelbarrow as she had a load of wood on her drive that she needed to shift. Not long after her request hit the air waves her phone started to ring.  She not only got her wheelbarrow but a lovely couple and their 4 kids also moved all of her wood for her.
Needless to say the lady was extremely grateful and wanted to express her gratitude to the family as well as to the “lovely lady on the radio who did such a great job of putting it across.”

Trevor & Michelle Nelley, Spiritual Gardens Ltd.
“Natural earth and holistic fairs. Quality crystal jewellery and phone readings.
