Licensing services no longer for Opotiki

Driver licensing services will no longer be available in Opotiki.

NZTA's Waikato Bay of Plenty division has confirmed the news in a post on social media.

Driver licensing and vehicle licence plate services in the town were canned around August last year.

Since then an AA mobile service has been held most Tuesdays at the Memorial Park Sports Pavilion.

NZTA says this service is not able to be run this month, however its working to find a solution by February.

Anyone needing drivers licenses or registration plates is urged to visit the Whakatane AA branches at either Victoria Avenue or at Te Tahi Street.

For motor vehicle licensing and road user charge services head to NZ Post Ōpōtiki.
