Three arrested following aggravated robbery in Matata
Police still want the public's help after three people have been arrested in relation to an aggravated robbery at the Matata Liquor Centre.
The robbery happened last weekend and saw offenders taking four bottles of alcohol and cash from the store register by knife-point.
Police have arrested and charged two youths and an adult in relation to the incident.
Despite this police has resumed enquiries into the movements of the three offenders on the day of November 16.
It's appealing to members of the public who were driving on Manawahe Road, and traveling between Lake Rotoma and Lake Rotoiti on Saturday November 16 between 11:30am and 2pm.
Anyone who saw a maroon Toyota Corona , or who may have found or seen any discarded clothing items, a knife or hammer at those locations, is asked to contact Whakatane Police.
