Two minutes silence for Christchurch victims

As part of a nationwide reflection, 1xx will pause its broadcast from 1.32pm for two minutes, as a mark of respect for those killed in Christchurch last week.

Earlier this week Prime Minister Jacinda Adern announced the nationwide reflection, which she says will provide the entire nation with an oppourtunity to pay our respects.

The Muslim Call to Prayer will be held at 1.30pm at Hagley Park, opposite the Al Noor Mosque in Deans Ave, Christchurch, followed by a two-minute silence at 1.32pm.

As part of the nationwide action, 1xx will pause its broadcast from 1.32pm for two minutes, as a mark of respect for the fallen.

Everyone is encouraged to join in on the reflection wherever they may be.
