Technology firm to lend helping hand in Kawerau

A technology consultancy firm is donating 800 hours of time this week to schools and projects in the Kawerau community.

The Davanti team is paying a visit to Tarawera High School, working with year 7 to 13 students to build rockets as a taster of career opportunities in this field.

Davanti will then be running a Consultancy speed dating session for local businesses where business owners can ask for practical advice on communication, website's and strategy.

Head of Design and Experience Viv Baartman says its an opportunity for Davanti to give something back to New Zealand and specifically people in Kawerau.
