Police said State Highway 33 Tikitere to Paengaroa was closed near the intersection with Allport Road, due to a crash around 5am on July 16.
It said a truck and trailer unit rolled, fully blocking the road.
The road reopened in the late afternoon.
Hato Hone St John responed with one ambulance, and assessed a single patient on scene.
It said they were transported to Tauranga Hospital in a moderate condition.
