Emergency services responded to a single vehicle crash around 3:40pm on Saturday.
Police says another person remains in hospital with serious injuries.
It says the road was close while the Serious Crash Unit performed a scene examination and has since reopened.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
