Richard has been helping in the community for a very long time, just quietly in the background, is a dedicated and active member of Rotary and Ryla, frequently works and supports local and community events.
Richard donates his time to several trusts to support local people, always giving cash to worthy causes.
Richard drives for Waka Eastern Bay of Plenty, was a founder of the Whakatane Motorcycle club and worked tirelessly helping getting summer cross up and running in Awakaponga. He is also a committee member of Tarawera 100 trail ride.
Richard is an all round amazing gentleman and well respected by so many people.
