Fatal Collision Between Vehicle & Dirt Bike In Ōpōtiki

One person has died following a vehicle collision in Ōpōtiki yesterday afternoon.

Police were called to Paerata Ridge Road about 3.45pm after a car and a dirt bike collided.

"One person sadly died at the scene." A Police spokesperson says.

The Serious Crash Unit have examined the scene and enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
