Whakatāne tri-athlete Hayden Wilde will have to wait another day for his Paris race.
Officials have postponed tonight's men's triathlon race due to poor water quality levels in the River Seine.
"The tests carried out in the Seine today revealed water quality levels that did not provide sufficient guarantees to allow the event to be held," a statement from World Triathlon said.
The race will be held tomorrow night from 8:45pm NZ Time, subject to further water quality testing.
