Investigations Underway Following Three Suspicious Car Fires In Papamoa Overnight

Police are making enquiries following three suspicious car fires in Papamoa Beach last night.
Police were first called to Lamia Grove just after 3:15am where two vehicles had been set alight.
A third vehicle fire was then reported in Katerini Grove a short time later.
"Enquiries are ongoing to locate the offenders," a Police spokesperson says.
Fire and Emergency responded with two crews from Papamoa and Mount Maunganui.
"The fires were being treated as suspicious," A Fire and Emergency spokesperson says.
