Night works will get underway on Whakatāne's Landing Road on Sunday night as works progress on the brand new roundabout.
Council advise, night works are scheduled overnight this Sunday December 3rd through to next Thursday December 7th, from 9pm to 5am.
The work includes removing the old road and laying and compacting the new surface near the Whakatāne Bridge exit/entrance and on Landing Road near the River View apartments.
It's the final stages of the project, which Whakatāne District Council expects to be complete by December 15th.
A Stop/Go system will be in force until 5am when regular traffic flow will resume.
