Person Airlifted to Waikato Hospital After Being Hit on Te Teko Road

One person is in serious condition after being struck by a car on Te Teko Road this morning.

A police spokesperson confirmed they were notified of the incident involving a pedestrian at around 8:40am.

A spokesperson for Hato Hone St John said one ambulance, two operations managers, and one helicopter responded to the scene.

The injured person was airlifted to Waikato Hospital for treatment.
