Police are now looking into an incident at Ōpōtiki's Te Tahuhu o Te Rangi on Monday afternoon.
Police received reports of a disorder involving youths at the Ōpōtiki District Library around 4.45pm on Monday.
"Upon arriving at the scene, Police have discovered the front and back doors of the library were damaged," a Police spokesperson says.
"Officers have been making enquiries to the nature of the disorder,"
