Police Investigate Attempted Ram Raid In Ōhope

Whakatāne Police are now investigating an attempted ram raid at an Ōhope store overnight.

Police were notified of a burglary on Pohutukawa Avenue around 1:45am.

"A group are reported to have broken into the store and left in a vehicle before Police arrived," a Police spokesperson says.

"Enquiries are ongoing," the spokesperson says.
