Police Name Victim Of Serious State Highway 35 Crash

Police have now named the man who died in the serious single-vehicle crash on State Highway 35 Hicks Bay on Monday.

Police say, he was 65 year old Heriwini Reedy, from Hicks Bay.

Police had received a report on Monday afternoon of a car that had crashed into a bridge on Te Araroa Road/State Highway 35 at 4.40pm.

Police extend their sympathies to his whānau and loved ones.

Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
