Two men have been arrested and charged, in relation to significant offending across Waikato and Bay of Plenty, including the Eastern Bay.
The pair, aged 19 and 24 face charges of arson, burglary, motor vehicle theft, failing to stop for Police and assault with a weapon.
Police say, the charges relate to the following incidents across Rotorua, Taupo, and Waikato.
It includes the burglaries at the Port Ōhope Store and Café, Edgecumbe Central Vape store and the arson of a stolen vehicle on August 2nd and the Rotomā Gas Station on August 10th.
They're also alleged to have carried out the Jewelz Whakatāne, The Warehouse and Edgecumbe Bay Vet robberies, on August 16th.
The pair are also linked to robberies of the Z Awakeri service station on August last Sunday and Kawerau Paper Tech Supplies and arson of a stolen vehicle, yesterday.
Detective Senior Sergeant Paul Wilson says, investigations into remains ongoing and can't rule out the possibility of further charges or arrests.
Wilson says, they hope the arrests provide some degree of reassurance to the victims and to the wider community.
The pair appeared in the Whakatāne District Court on Friday and will reappear on Wednesday.
