Two people seriously Injured after Whakatāne crash

Whakatāne's Reid Road is closed between, Cross Road and Awahou road.

Emergency services were called to attend a two vehicle crash around 8.30am.

A police spokesperson confirmed that two people are being treated for serious injuries.

Motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
