It was a big night on Friday for the 2024 Bay of Plenty Dairy Industry Awards in Awakeri.
The event saw Te Puke's Sophia Clark and Aaron Mills take out the Sharemilker of the Year award. Whakatāne's Hayden and Chelsea Goodall were named runners up in the category with Ōpōtiki's Thomas Houston in third.
George King of Whakatāne was named the 2024 Dairy Manager of the Year. Te Puke's Lindsay Williams followed closely behind in second with Galatea's Reno Moses in third place.
Luke Feisst of Te Puke was awarded the 2024 Dairy Trainee of the Year followed by Tauranga's Alana Fitzpatrick in second and Galatea's Lawerance Heurea in third.
The winner's field day will now be held on April 3rd.
