Woman Allegedly Points Air Gun At Person During Whakatane Petrol Station Altercation

A 32-year-old woman is facing multiple charges, after Police allege she pointed an air gun at another person, during a verbal altercation at a petrol station on Whakatāne's King Street on Monday night.


Police said the incident happened around 10pm and the woman later was arrested at Kirk Street.


She's charged with presenting a firearm, threatening to kill and possessing an offensive weapon, meth and meth utensils and is expected to appear in the Whakatāne District Court today.
