US choir pays an emotional tribute to Christchurch following the shooting
A former world champion choir has shared their rendition of the New Zealand song Pokarekare Ana following the Christchurch shooting.
The choir, Westminster Chorus have previously toured New Zealand during which they were taught the song and they then went on to perform it alongside Vocal FX Chorus from Wellington in Orlando last year in July.
The Californian group is a past winner of the 'Choir of the World' Pavarotti Trophy.
They shared this video with this statement,
"Our hearts go out to all of our New Zealand brothers and sisters in the wake of this horrible tragedy."Just as we found immediate brotherhood and unity when New Zealand opened it's arms to us in the past, we have no doubt that love and harmony will prevail and connect us all in time. We will be singing Pokarekare Ana and sending out it's message from across the ocean with hope for a peaceful future for all."
