1XX Pyjama Drive

We’re proud to launch the 1XX Pyjama Drive, proudly supported by New World Supermarket Kawerau; a community effort to help keep our local kids warm this winter. 

As the colder months set in, many families across the Eastern Bay of Plenty are doing it tough. That’s where we come in - and where you can make a real difference. 

How it works 

We’re collecting brand new winter clothing for children aged 1 to 16 years, which will be donated to The Clothing Project. 

While The Clothing Project also works with pre-loved items, for this drive we’re focusing on new essentials, giving kids the comfort, dignity, and warmth that comes with something just for them. 

The Clothing Project's incredible team of volunteers carefully sort and distribute donations to families in need, with a mission that goes far beyond clothing - helping children and whānau feel valued, supported, and cared for by their community. 

What we’re looking for (NEW items only) 

• Pyjamas 
• Thermals 
• Singlets 
• Long sleeve tees 
• Pants / trousers 
• Tights

Pyjama Party Day – 15th May 🎉 

To wrap up the drive, we’re inviting the whole community to take part in our Pyjama Party on May 15th. 

Wear your pyjamas to work or school and show your support... and don’t worry, you won’t be the only ones… the 1XX team will be rocking their PJs on air and around town too!!
Bring along a new clothing donation or make a monetary contribution and be part of something that makes a real differentce for local families.

Why it matters 

This isn’t just about clothing. It’s about making sure every child feels warm, confident, and cared for. 

Together, we can help create a community where every child heads into winter with something warm to wear.
