Police Investigating a Brawl in Ōpōtiki Over the Weekend

    Police are making enquiries into the incident.

    Police were called to Ford Street in Ōpōtiki around 11.00pm on Saturday, 5 September, after reports of a fight involving a large group of people.

    Hato Hone St John said two ambulances responded and three patients were treated on scene.  

    It said all three were transported to Whakatane Hospital in a “moderate condition.”

    Police said the group dispersed and follow-up enquiries are being made.
